Welcome to the Bogastow Team

The Bogastow Ski Team welcomes new members: The team gives young skiers of all ages an opportunity to
train and compete in slalom and giant slalom courses against skiers from
other local clubs. Bogastow
competes in the Eastern Massachusetts Buddy Werner League.
No prior race experience
is required; however, skiers must be able to get on and off a chair lift
unassisted and
ski all terrain at
The 7 & under race course is gentle with the emphasis on fun.
The 8 & older skiers compete on more competitive courses with the
emphasis on improving skills and successful course completion.

Races are held on seven Sunday mornings in January, February and March.

Nashoba, Ski Ward in
Bogastow is a parent-volunteer run organization. In order to make our team and race days run successfully, parents of all skiers are expected to volunteer on race days.
Skiers compete in age groups based on their age as of December 31, 2012.
In recent years, about 75 children from Dover, Sherborn, Dedham, Weston, Westwood and surrounding towns have raced for the team with some qualifying for additional post-season championship races.
Ribbons are awarded to the top 10 finishers in each age group at every
race. Trophies are awarded to the top 10 finishers at the Trophy Race
and at the Championship Race.
